WHO WE ARE
Jamiiā¢ (pronounced JahMe), means ācommunityā in Swahili. We are a faith-based nonprofit that revitalizes underserved communities by blending Indigenous Art and Culture into education, community building, and economic growth.
WHAT WE DO
At Jamii, we utilize our Indigenous Art and Culture to educate families and revitalize communities. We accomplish this through our creative, interactive Learning Through Play experiences that encourage inter-generational relationships, healthy living, and unity in the community.
OUR FORMULA
Our organization is powered by three key elements:
1. Education
The goal of our education element is to provide community members with a solid cultural foundation, and an ever-expanding resource for continued education.
2. Community
The core of our community element lies in our members, who are the heart and driving force of our organization. They are the source of our creativity, culture, strength, and values.
3. Economics
Our economic element is a cooperative economic system that circulates currency and resources to our community and Indigenous communities around the world.
WHAT WE KNOW
We are all children of The Most High Supreme Creator (Olodumare, Amen, Nyame, Ntu, Amma, Igziabeher, Brahma, Allah, Jah, The All, The Source, The Most High, God, etc.), and there is beauty in every one of us. Each of us has a distinct personality and a unique gift to share with the world. No one is better than the other, just different. We celebrate each otherās differences because we realize that we are parts of the same whole.
Although we do not subscribe to any particular religious doctrine, we recognize that many paths lead to Divinity. We welcome Indigenous People of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds to join us as vessels for the manifestation of The Most High Supreme Creator here on Earth.
OUR MISSION
We intend to empower our members by establishing a peaceful, sustainable, autonomous, Indigenous system of education, community engagement, and cooperative economics, to create a resilient and culturally rich environment for holistic and sustainable growth.
OUR EVENTS
All Jamii events are safe sacred spaces for community members to freely practice our culture. We require attendees to enter these spaces with pure intentions and respect each other as Father & Mother, Brother & Sister, Son & Daughter. AsƩ.
INDIGENOUS
The title āIndigenousā is being used to describe the Original so-called āBlack/Afrikan/Negroidā Man & Woman, who are Indigenous to the Earth. The intention behind using the title āIndigenous,ā is to unify the Original People of the world, and dissolve the illusion of separation by language, ethnic culture, titles, and imaginary borders. TAX DEDUCTIBLE
Jamiiā¢ is a non-profit organization pursuant to Section 501 (c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

It was an honor and a privilege to serve our community in 2023. With limited staff and funding, we still managed to accomplish so much over a short period.
Our events last year served over 200 families, created economic opportunities for 12 local businesses, forged 6 non-profit alliances, 2 collaborations with local schools, and created close to 30 jobs for local artists.
We were also able to utilize our Indigenous Art & Culture to:
- Revitalize a historic Broward County, FL community
- Perform over 100 drum healing ceremonies
- Serve over 100 seniors in memory care facilities throughout South Florida
We are grateful to be expanding every day as a community asset and resource. We look forward to continuing to serve our community in 2024 and beyond! AsƩ

- BABA MATTHEW "PURE" BRADLEY
Baba Matthew āPureā Bradley also known by his spiritual name Twra Ptah, and nickname Pure, is a Divine Being, American Aborigine, Baba, Futuristic Indigenous Lifestyle Practitioner, Spiritual Advisor, Farmer, Culinary Alchemist, Reiki Practitioner, Musician, Content Producer, Graphic Designer, Fashion Designer, Author, Speaker, Educator and Regenerative Entrepreneur.
Matthew was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Growing up, his father was a source of common sense and wisdom, and his mother was an art teacher who cultivated his creativity from birth. This combination of practicality & creativity would later lead to careers in music production, graphic design, fashion design, and culinary arts.
In 2015, Matthew had a spiritual awakening while in La Ceiba, Honduras. He learned about life, spirituality, and the healing power of nature. Matthewās experience in Honduras inspired him to travel the world and learn from different cultures in an attempt to find a response to the challenges we face as a people in America.
In 2017, Matthew received a Community Permaculture Design Certification after completing a 9-month Course at Black Oaks Center in Kankakee, Illinois. He became a Plant-Based Culinary Alchemist in September 2018, by completing 36 hours of Gourmet Ra Food, Art, and Science from Sunfired Institute in Montego Bay, Jamaica. In February 2019 he was initiated in playing the djembe at Congo Square in New Orleans, Louisiana. He then became a Reiki Practitioner after being attuned in New Orleans in May 2019. In August 2019, Matthew began experimenting with Music Therapy. Shortly after, he was introduced to Medical QiGong and began healing from a long-term shoulder injury. Finally, in 2022 Matthew received a Sound Healing and Therapy Certification from Globe Institute in Sausalito, California.
Matthew is the proud Baba (Father) of YemayĆ”, who is the light of his life. His position on Babahood is “once you become a Baba, you become a Baba to everyone.”
At Jamii, Baba Matthew uses his life experiences, talents, and abilities to serve, while continuously expanding and welcoming new experiences to learn from. His motto is āTeach what you know, and learn as you go.ā

- TABITHA FOSTER
Tabitha is a long-time sustainable lifestyle practitioner and founder of the Sistar Soulidarity Movement, which is an empowerment circle for original Melanated-Indigenous Wombmen.
Her involvement and commitment to Jamii began when she realized she had a shared vision for Futuristic Indigenous Lifestyle Education and the need for an Urban Sanctuary. She currently serves as the Event Manager of Jamii, ensuring the overall efficiency of company events and operations.
Tabitha is most passionate about the success of Melanated-Indigenous communities and lives her life to be one example of how we can achieve this success. She is very excited to work with all of our members and meet new like-minded people who are ready to carry out the vision for this community.
